Letter from our Co-Founders

Over the past decade, Aniwa has had the great honor of stewarding ethical partnerships with Indigenous collectives worldwide. Rooted in respect, reciprocity, and trust, these relationships have grown into enduring alliances that support Indigenous-led initiatives to protect ancestral territories, revitalize traditional practices, and strengthen communities most directly impacted by the climate crisis and global economic pressures.

Today, the resilience of our international community remains essential to ensuring the continuity of ancestral knowledge and regenerative lifeways that offer a path forward for our planet. Through the Huya Aniwa Foundation, we are deepening this mission, amplifying Indigenous voices, preserving cultural and ecological heritage, and expanding our collective impact for the healing of Earth.

Our donors and partners play a vital role in co-creating this vision. Your support sustains initiatives that preserve sacred lands, provide economic and educational opportunities, and create bridges of understanding between Indigenous wisdom keepers and the modern world. Through our online education platform, annual gatherings, and in-person retreats, Aniwa continues to offer meaningful spaces for dialogue, learning, and transformation.

We extend our deepest gratitude for your continued trust and partnership. It is a privilege to witness the tangible impact of your contributions, and we are honored to share this Impact Report as a reflection of what we have accomplished together.

May we continue walking side by side with our Indigenous partners in the decade ahead, to safeguard the beauty, wisdom, and vitality of our natural world for generations to come.
